Stargazing is out of this world at #CratersoftheMoon National Monument in #Idaho. The park is a volcanic wonderland where hardened lava rivers scatter islands of mini #volcanoes called spatter cones -- a landscape that’s even more surreal at night! Josh Packer (@packtography) captured this pic after waking up around 2 am on a camping trip. “The #MilkyWay, the stars, the moon rising to the left, the city lights to the right, the planets shining brightly and the molten rock produced this iconic scene,” he says.
