Meet Wisdom, the world's oldest living, banded wild bird who has returned to #MidwayAtoll National #WildlifeRefuge -- which is located on the far northern end of the Hawaiian archipelago. First spotted at the end of November, Wisdom can be seen (on the left) preening her mate. Laysan albatrosses mate for life, and Wisdom -- the 63-year-old albatross -- has raised between 30 to 35 chicks since being banded in 1956 at an estimated age of 5. Photo by B.
