This right here is an “erratic.” That’s what we call boulders left behind in unfamiliar surroundings by long gone glaciers. This particular erratic, which stands as tall as a two-story house, was photographed by @the_SCA member Kaitlin Thoresen (@k_thoresen) as part of her internship this summer at #Denali #NationalPark and Preserve in #Alaska. “I will never forget being awed by these giant boulders set down by a passing glacier thousands of years ago,” says Thoresen. by usinterior
