Spilling Thought: Meet Ranger Roy Sullivan: The Chuck Norris of #ParkRangers. Ranger Sullivan is one of the most storied rangers in the modern #NationalPark Service. He was struck 7 times over the course of 40 years and lived through every single strike! To add to the story, after the lightning strike, he had to fight off a bear -- his 22nd bear attack. He holds the Guinness World Record for most survived lightning strikes on an individual. Today, we celebrate all rangers as part of #WorldRangerDay -- a day to recognize the work rangers do to protect the world’s natural and cultural treasures.
