This rare display of lenticular clouds over #GrandTeton National Park (@grandtetonnps) in #Wyoming last week captivated park visitors. Lenticular (lens-shaped) clouds occur when stable, moist air flows over a mountain, creating a series of large-scale standing waves on the downwind side.
