November is #ManateeAwarenessMonth! Pictured here is a #manatee at the Three Sisters Springs in Crystal River National #WildlifeRefuge Complex. This #Florida refuge was established in 1983 specifically for the protection of the endangered West Indian manatee. #CrystalRiver refuge preserves the warm water spring havens, providing critical habitat for the manatee populations that migrate here each winter.
